🌲 Welcome to Shotski’s Lodge

There's something special about having the mountain practically at your doorstep while still feeling tucked away in the woods.

Shotski’s Lodge is a recently built, mountain-modern cabin just 100 yards from Angel Fire’s Heading Home ski run. Enjoy ski-in/ski-out access in winter and bike-in/bike-out adventures in summer. And in every season, enjoy the quiet forest setting, beautiful sunsets, and frequent visits from local wildlife.

We've worked to make the cabin feel like a comfortable, well-equipped home rather than just another vacation rental. Come for the mountain adventures, stay for the chance to truly unwind.

🛏 Make Yourself at Home

The cabin accommodates up to 10 guests, with five beds and two full bathrooms:

• Main bedroom: King bed

• Second bedroom: Two queen beds

• Open loft: Two queen beds

The loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and also features foosball and shuffleboard.

♨️ Relax & Recharge

After skiing, biking, or exploring, there's plenty to enjoy right at the cabin:

• Private hot tub surrounded by forest

• Expansive back deck with comfortable seating and beautiful sunsets

• Outdoor fire pit for s'mores and evenings under the stars

• Cozy wood stove, with firewood provided

• Game loft with foosball and shuffleboard

Wildlife sightings are part of the experience. Deer and wild turkeys regularly wander through the surrounding trees, and you may spot other mountain wildlife as well.

🍳 A Kitchen You'll Actually Enjoy Using

We know how disappointing it can be to arrive at a vacation rental and discover a kitchen stocked with the bare minimum.

At Shotski’s Lodge, you'll find quality cookware, utensils, and appliances chosen to make preparing meals easy and enjoyable.

The kitchen includes a Nespresso machine, traditional drip coffee maker, air fryer, slow cooker, waffle maker, blender, toaster, and much more.

Whether you're putting together a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or cooking dinner for the whole group, you should feel right at home.

🎿 Little Things That Make a Difference

We've included some thoughtful extras to make mountain vacations easier:

• Dedicated dryer for ski boots, gloves, and helmets

• Fiber-optic internet for streaming, gaming, or remote work

• Tankless water heater for unlimited hot water

• Everyday supplies including shampoo, paper towels, and firewood

🏔 Adventure in Every Season

Winter is all about skiing and snowboarding at Angel Fire Resort, with the Heading Home run just a short distance from the cabin.

When the snow melts, Angel Fire becomes a destination for downhill mountain biking, hiking, and other outdoor adventures.

Fall brings beautiful colors, crisp mountain air, and peaceful days in the forest. And sometimes the best activity is simply doing nothing—soaking in the hot tub, watching wildlife, or enjoying an evening by the fire.

🚗 A Few Things to Know

Mountain access: Ski-in/ski-out access depends on snow conditions. When direct ski-out access isn't ideal, the El Camino drop-off point is approximately two minutes away by car.

Winter driving: AWD/4WD is recommended for driveway access during snowy or rainy weather. Alternatively, parking is available at the top of the cul-de-sac, with an approximately 100-foot walk to the cabin.

Pets: Up to three pets are welcome with a $200 pet fee. Unauthorized pets are subject to a $500 fee.

Security: An exterior Ring floodlight camera is installed outside the cabin.

We hope Shotski’s Lodge becomes a place you'll look forward to returning to, whether for your next ski trip, summer adventure, or quiet getaway in the mountains.
